Hey Ladies I have been working on a fund raiser with one of my friends Leslie. This is extremely near and dear to my heart! She lost her daughter to acute liver failure at the age of 2. She and her husband started this charity in honor of Joey. This year the American Liver foundation has picked it up!! This is very exciting news!!!! This way all donations ARE tax deductable!! This is such a worthwhile cause. I give to the Liver foundation all the time. One of my nieces (Amanda) had a liver transplant when she was 6 yrs old. She was OK for about a week and then she got feverish which caused her transplant to fail so luckily they found another match in time and she received a second transplant. She is now 20 years old and is doing very well.
